Casa Jardín is committed to making this website as accessible as possible to all our guests, including those who use assistive technology. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, where this is reasonable for a small, independently-run bed and breakfast.
Status
This website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 AA. Some content does not yet meet the standard, as set out below.
Known issues
- There may be content in languages other than the page's primary language where the language change is not correctly tagged.
- Some video or audio content may not have captions or a text alternative.
- In a small number of places, text or focus indicators may not meet the minimum contrast ratio.
- Some PDF documents linked from the site may not be fully accessible.
- The booking flow on a separate subdomain is operated by a third-party platform (Eviivo); accessibility on that platform is the responsibility of the provider.
Our approach
This website:
- has been built with accessibility in mind, aiming at WCAG 2.1 AA;
- is optimised for current versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari and Opera;
- uses responsive design to display correctly across desktop, tablet and mobile devices;
- is built using HTML5 and CSS3.
Adjusting the display in your browser
To change text size in the most common browsers:
- Firefox: View → Zoom → Text Only
- Safari: View → Make Text Bigger / Smaller
- Chrome / Edge: Menu → Zoom
- Across most browsers, you can use the keyboard shortcuts: Ctrl + + (or ⌘ + +) to increase, Ctrl + − to decrease, Ctrl + 0 to reset.
